The problem we lived
In fast-moving teams, commitments happen everywhere — in Slack threads, quick DMs, end-of-meeting messages. "I'll send you the doc by Friday." "Let me check and get back to you." "I'm on it." These are the building blocks of trust. And they disappear into the feed within hours.
We tried task managers. We tried note-taking. We tried tagging each other. None of it stuck because the friction was always too high relative to the speed of conversation.
The real insight: the commitment is already in the message. The language is there. The deadline is there. The recipient is there. All that was missing was something that could listen, understand, and quietly help people follow through.
What we built
Commitment Crawler is an AI agent that lives in your Slack, reads every message in the channels it's invited to, and extracts genuine commitments using a fine-tuned LLM. When it finds one, it sends a private popup to the person who made it — nobody else sees anything — giving them one tap to confirm and block their calendar.
No behaviour change required. No new apps to open. No manual entry. Just the team keeping their word, one commitment at a time.
Our values
Privacy first
Notifications go only to the person who made the commitment. Managers see aggregated scores only with team opt-in.
Zero friction
If it requires behaviour change from your team, it won't work. We built for the way people already communicate.
Accountability, not surveillance
This is a personal accountability coach, not a monitoring tool. The goal is growth, not punishment.
Trust as infrastructure
Follow-through is the foundation of team trust. We're here to make keeping your word the path of least resistance.
