Yes — type /invite @CommitmentCrawler in any channel you want monitored. This is by design: you control exactly which conversations are tracked. The admin welcome DM walks you through which channels to start with.
Nothing. The confirmation popup is an ephemeral Slack message — only visible to the person who made the commitment. No public callouts, no notifications to teammates or managers. It's personal accountability, not surveillance.
The bot monitors channels it's been invited to. Human-to-human DMs are private and intentionally not monitored. If you DM the bot directly, those messages will be processed.
Yes — the underlying LLM understands commitment language across multiple languages including Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and more. If the model can understand the intent, it will extract the commitment regardless of language.
The AI uses a 75% confidence threshold — anything below that is silently ignored. Every notification has a one-tap "Dismiss" button. In testing across real professional Slack messages, our false positive rate is under 8%.
Google Calendar is fully supported — connect it once via a 30-second OAuth flow and every confirmed commitment automatically gets a focus block. Outlook / Microsoft 365 is on the roadmap for Q3.
